BioEndeavor: Being Proactive about the Climate
Updated: Dec 28, 2021
The October calendar features suggestions on climate action at an individual level, within your families, by encouraging our children and students, at work, and at a community level. Suggestions include:
Climate action through food and dietary changes, water and energy conservation, greenspace preservation, and reading about the upcoming COP26 Climate Change Conference for our leaders in November.
Teaching our children and students about climate justice, the COP26 conference, how to repurpose and reuse as the holidays approach, learning about climate adaptation and climate mitigation, understanding the SDGs, and calculating our plastic footprint and foodprint.
At work, talk to colleagues about the formation of green teams, learn about your organization’s ESG strategy, and discuss how the SDGs are relevant to your organization.
